Former Premiership defender Mark Fish was tied up and robbed after his home appeared on TV show Footballers' Cribs, he has revealed.
The 31-year-old has become the second victim of raiders following an appearance on the MTV show, hosted by the England manager's girlfriend Nancy Dell'Olio.
The ex-Charlton player and ex-South Africa international was bound by four men who burst into his £1.5m mansion and stole jewellery worth £200,000.
He told The Sun how he had gone to bed, while his wife Loui, 32, tried to get their two young sons to sleep.
Fish said: "Suddenly this guy jumped on my back. He said, 'For the sake of your children you'd better co-operate with us'.
"Then they stuffed a sock in my mouth and tied my hands behind my back."
The robbery came shortly after another former England player's home was ransacked.
Goalie Ian Walker was targeted after his home featured on the programme. His credit cards and his £75,000 Range Rover were stolen.
