Technology Firefox Downloading Doesn't Save

i dont know whats happening with my firefox lately. but everytime i download something, it never saves if i save it with the right click save as method.

and when i'm downloading stuff and i go check the download box to see how they progress, it doesn't show me the downloads. it's empty.

Your actual problem is a corrupt download.php file, it happened to me, you have to delete the download.php file from documents & settings firefox folder and it will reappear but if that plugin helps it's all good.
