MarvelouZ (negative)

I initially created this thread before the board was disrupted, so I support it, though I have never felt a need to use it. Part of collecting is taking risks, and most of the time when you try to locate something new you won’t get what you expected. I also have an established reputation as a seller and a buyer, and am quick to ship or send payment. I live by fidelity, meaning that if I say I will do something, I will. Period.

That being said, I am one to stand by the mail system as being reliable. I have never once had a letter or a shipment lost in transit be it to Europe or any place in America. These days it seems that people are quick to use the mail system as an excuse, but I just don’t buy it. I use that preface because after a thread about a month ago with MarvelouZ I exchanged some instant messages and TB PM’s with the guy and agreed to purchase a few items from him. I mailed payment, but thanks to confusion between a number and a letter on the envelope it was returned to me from the Poland postal office. I received the letter back, and messaged MarvelouZ both privately and in his thread on the board to which I simply received a “ :) ”. Not knowing if this was him trying to be cute or whatever, I retrieved his address from someone else he sold singles to and verified it was the same as I had. I re-sent the letter containing payment, with tape over the text to protect it, and expected to hear from him within 7-10 days, the time required for overseas airmail. No word came, and after trying to contact him repeatedly I finally managed to speak with him on AIM. He plainly stated that he never received my payment, and moreover he claimed that we never set up a deal. I had printed my PM with his agreement to the deal and included it with my payment no less. I was skeptical why someone who is so active on eBay claimed he did not have a working PayPal account, and I am left thinking that he elected for me to mail money instead of using (insured) electronic transfers is that he entered the “deal” with dishonest intentions. So here I am, $50 poorer, and the seller claiming we never had a deal, and that he never received his payment to begin with. I reiterate, I have never once had mail to or from Europe be lost in transit in all of my hundreds of dealings with overseas collectors since 1998. MarvelouZ cannot claim the same. Numerous people he has traded with have since told me of his excuses and run-around tactics regarding his being too busy at school, the address used was his home address, etc. I too use multiple addresses, but I choose the most appropriate one to ensure I will be there to receive a letter. It is preposterous to have a letter sent to an address that you will not have access to for weeks at a time.

I’ll wrap it up. I set up a deal with this guy and made good on the payment. He, on the other hand, seems not to even remember the deal and claims never to have received payment. Plain and simple, my contribution in this thread is to caution establishing any transactions with MarvelouZ. On the other hand, I have had successful trades with several board members, including 221, Pittsey, Imy, and others, and successful sales with well over 50 TB members. If there’s a problem, I will fix it.

LC784741547US is the CN22 declaration form tracing number. marv, you or someone at your address has my money. either return it or send me what i purchased.

what i think is going on here is that marv suddenly loses his sense of ethics when people who aren't in his "crew" come into play. anyway, there's my proof. big fat scammer who hides behind his "poor english" whenever it suits him. oh so wack.

Lawz221 - Traded and dealt with him various times. He was kind enough to already airmail me the money, while he had not received his bought item yet. That was the first time we dealt (over a year ago, I believe, time flies). After that, various other agreements were made and lived, always with mutual faith. Nothing but good words.

MarvelouZ - Contrary to the poster above I have not had any problem dealing with MarvelouZ. We got to talking on MSN and we both had something the other party wanted, so we exchanged. After that a couple of other deals were made, and, at one point, MarvelouZ was friendly enough to send me a free single. So again, nothing but good words.

kadafifatal - He made me a good deal and I'm thankful for that. Item was as described and packaging was very good as well. I hope to do more business with him in the future, since he's always got something nice to sell.

Dante - Only dealt with him once so far. Everything went smooth, like it's supposed to. Good shipping as well. Recommended.

BrownSuga - Friendly dude, very fast shipping. Threw in a small bonus, which was cool. Again, nothing but good words. Very recommended.

Jokko20 - Cool dude, very friendly. Fast shipping. Recommended also.

I'd like to give good feedback to dante, danny-boy, lawz221 and pittsey. i dont need to give a reason lol. they were different kinds of deals with the various people but i already recieved what i was waiting for or expecting. some shit dante once sent me took some time though but that was indeed the post system, as shown by the stamp on the packet.

also, i wanna give bad feedback to makaveli678. i sent $100 for the made niggaz promo vhs and "some dvds with special videos just for you ;)" and never recieved nothing. furthermore, he disappeared, and despite several attempts to contact him i never saw him after that. too bad, i really wanted that dvd lol.

Positive feedback:

Lawz221: I met him shortly after i signed on TB and since there we became business partners as far as collecting is concerned. We have done many, many deals together including big money things, collectors items etc. Never have any problem with him, even more always had very good expierance dealing with him, so basically we started hooking each other up after a short while. I got full trust to him, and I know he would never rip any1 off. Very often send things first or unexpectendly as a surprise Very kind, always wants to give more then i expect. Would even buy stuff using his credit card for me as already did. I know i can always count on him, and if he can help he will for sure!!! Can give him anything and I`m sure he would pay back in time, best business partner i have dealt with and also the most true person I met on the whole crooked internet. Many thanks !!!

DutchMakaveli: done few deals, firstly money-wise, now it`s hook up type of relation, all went smooth, very kind, got many stuff off him for free very reliable, recommneded !!!

Immy: so far did 1 deal with him – money thing, went w/o any problems, so i trusted him again and 2nd deal is in the air;)

Redrum Heel / Dominator: Also did few deals with him already, firstly money-wise, now it`s hook up type of relation ,always very fast, and offers nice things, very good to deal with.

Nati: Dealt once – money thing, sent fast, very good .

Jm5471: Present deal, received money quick, waiting for clearance and sending him stuff, so far very well.

Pittsey: Did nice offer, sent money, everything smooth, good partner.

My side of the story (deal):
Some time ago i was selling many promos here, dante was interested in some, so he offered nice money, it was very strange from that point since we got beef with each other, I dissed him badly here, and now he came to me to get some cds, but i thought ok, can`t be bothered to fight with a prick like him whole life, business is business lol so were pming each to set a deal. Then suddenly he pmed me on AIM telling me he confused 2 things from 3 he wanted, so now he want only 1 thing, and our convo ended at that point. Next i see some shit from him on board that he sent payment to me, i replied with smiles coz i knew he gonna set me up, coz we didn`t agreed any deal, so i thought he was joking. Anyways lately he pmed me asking where his cds are, and that he sent payment to me etc. I never received anything so i asked how he send it, he said registered letter. I said i didn`t get anything like that from him. He promised to trace it. About week ago i got a pm from him, he traced it and it says it`s been delivered. So i asked him for tracking number so i can ask at my post office what is goin on if it was “really “ delivered. He never came back to me until i see bad feedback today.

And yes i have an ebay account, to have an ebay active account you dont have to have a paypal credit/debit card, so your point is wrong asshole. U can also view my history to check all auctions i won have other payment methods than paypal or feedback for them is left many weeks later, which wouldn`t happen if i pay by paypal.

I don`t know where that info about me being in school came from, but I never used that as an excuse if some1 was treating me seriously.... one name coming to my head now is danny boy...about whom i will write after i complete present deal.

For me it`s obvious i was set up, and it was my mistake if talked to him. Now i see his retaliation for all the truths i spoke about him on this board. Why did he want to make a deal with me as i was dissing him? Why he didn`t give me info about his suppose registered letter? There`s simple answer he`s str8 liar!

This is my tips of advise to anyone doing deals. Dont send cash, money order or check if possible thru the mail! Shit gets lost in the mail and your also relying that you're dealing with a honest person on the other end. I've been burned on it couple times and highly recommend if you can do paypal then go that route cause its covered.

Summing up Pac collector – All round top guy that wont rip you off to better himself. You can even give him cigarettes for a Pac single! ; )

Paccollector - Appreciate that, my rep is worth more then money & anyone needs help or info about stuff its alway good to meet other collectors ;p. BTW I get smokes for cheap now at Indian reserve so no more trading my pac singles for them ;p

Dante - :thumb: Always good dealings and straght up guy. He always keeps things in the condition he purchased, so good person to buy off of. Not one problem and fast S&H. Not to mention great contributor to the 2pac scene and deserves the props for all he's done, so stop the hate.

Danny Boy - :thumb: Done deals with him on cd exchanges of promos and other things. Always straight up with me and no problems. Always good relations and another true collector.

Lawz221 - :thumb: Straight up good guy and honest with me on dealings. Had a deal that ended up being akward and he mended it well by sending the trade items back. Def came throu on deal, thx for that.

"G Litt – I sent her money in recorded delivery envelope for the DVDs she was selling under the “Manu” on Tupac board. I never heard anything again from her and she blocked me on MSN after months of talking to me on there saying she will be sending the DVD off soon (each time she would say that). To add further insult I only later discovered she owns the bootleg site of which prior months earlier I decided to purchase a bootleg set coming to over 100 dollars, again, I heard nothing and lost my money."

G Litt - :thumb: Highly Highly disagree with above statement from my dealings. It's been total opposite for me. I've had a couple dealings with her and communitcations where same day indepth emails with no prob what so ever. Items where shipped fast and deals went very smooth. Extremely happy with everything I got and definitly one the best collectors I've dealt with on the scene whos been straight with me on everything. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is another great contributor to the pac scene and should be given her props.

Quiggle27  - punk ass bitch that I would like to burn alive (Is this too harsh). Anyways to say the least I got fucked by em and he was nice enough to write me a page long emil how he wasn't gonna send me the cds and how I couldn't claim freud with the check I sent because he cashed it thru a quick cash place and doesnt even have a bank account (Maybe wanting to burn him alive isnt harsh enough). Anyways imma fuck u up when I'm around ur way (Better hope there is a move in ur future).

If you run up to him, say hello also from me.

To everybody, don't ever deal with this Quiggle guy. Tim Quiggle is a lieing piece of shit.

It was funny after I started to question him about the stuff I paid, he accused of me being a liar and that he doesn't know what has happened. Before that he had done few excuses like "post office sent it back to me because something was wrong" and promised to send it again. Well, of course nothing that really happened. After I started to get mad at him, he acted like he was the one being cheated and wouldn't respond anymore to my emails. What a bitch!

Dante : I've only had one dealing with Dante, I brought a CD single a couple of months ago from him on eBay. The CD hadn't arrived after a month so I emailed him and he said he would send me another which I thought was very decent of him. Also he's pretty good on answering emails given that he's a busy man. Luckily the CD turned up anyways and I will definitely deal with him again

Danny Boy : Total douche. I'd seen all of the bad feedback everyone left DB before but wanted to make up my own mind so I brought a CD single from him which cost about $50 including shipping to the UK. As usual I paid instantly and received no confirmation of payment or shipping from him which was unusual. He neer replied to any emails asking about my CD and when it would be shipped. He did, however, hound me on all of the following eBay auctions that I lost, for example everything that I bid on and didn't win he would send me an email offering me the same thing for my highest bid. I never accepted seeing as he was being so cagey about the item I had just won from him. After 3 months of waiting and alot of unanswered emails the CD still isn't here and even though I have brought about 50 CDs, DVDs and records from the States in the last 3 months it's remarkable that this is the first thing that has ever gotten lost in the post for me and I don't think it was ever sent in the first place. Idiot really cuz even though he made $50 on me he could've made hundreds if he had been a decent businessman, so it cost me 50 bucks to find out I should never buy anything from him again. Thanks!

I replied to all my e-mails. You were sending me 3 e-mails in one day. Obviously all 3 e-mails are about the same thing so I only replied to one of them, does the other two count as unreplied? The last e-mail I received from you was on January 22 and I replied accordingly on January 26th. After I replied, I never once heard of any mention that you still didn't get the CD. I don't reply within seconds, that doesn't mean it goes unanswered.

Once you send payment through PayPal, PayPal NOTIFIES you that payment's sent. There's no point in me e-mailing you and guiding you like a kid. Same goes with a e-mail regarding shipment. I don't see the need for it and usually don't compose one since the goods will be in the buyers' hands within weeks. It seems like you're a baby in training that needs his hand held and guided through a process called a transaction.

After my reply to you on the 26th, you should have e-mailed me back in a couple weeks and notify me that it wasn't there yet. But if I don't get any follow-up e-mails, then obviously it's safe to assume it arrived. I have two more copies of that CD and it wouldn't have take much convincing to have me ship it again.

No, that's a total lie. Not once did I ever email you 3 times in one day. The most is maybe once a week for two months to which you replied to TWO, the last enlightening reply from you was just "yes it was sent", no dates, no follow-up, no nothing from you.

Even now as you know I haven't received my CD you are making no attempt to make good on your promise. You have my money, I have all your excuses. As I said, and Dante said earlier in this thread, I have never had anything lost in the post, I even get things shipped from the States to Azerbaijan where I'm working and everything reaches me in about a week. Isn't it amazing that the most reluctant guy I have ever dealt with is the first person to lose a CD in the mail, or did you just really never send it because the auction finished at a lot lower than you wanted and it was the first time I had dealt with you so you thought you could fuck me off?

You can't treat other collectors this way, what goes around comes around and there are already alot of people on here bad-mouthing you.

Time to make good on our deal. Let me know what you're gonna do.

Matt.
