TERESA'S BACK: ELECTION WAS HACKED!
Tue Mar 08 2005 09:32:36 ET

Teresa Heinz Kerry is openly skeptical about results from November's election, the SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER reports, particularly in sections of the country where optical scanners were used to record votes.

"Two brothers own 80 percent of the machines used in the United States," Heinz Kerry said. She identified both as "hard-right" Republicans. She argued that it is "very easy to hack into the mother machines."

Heinz Kerry did not offer any specific evidence that votes on the machines were altered.

"We in the United States are not a banana republic," added Heinz Kerry during a fundraiser in Seattle.

"I fear for '06," she said.

Guess she is just a poor loser?

well if what she said about the voting machines is true, then its highly possible that the machines could be hacked...so she's just stating whats possible...if not probable....and she's just saying that she "fears for '06"...theres nothing wrong with that....so do i.

I don't see how it is so unrealistic that something like that went down. Are any of us under the delusion that a politician, especially the president, wouldn't go as low as they can to win an election?

I'm not necessarily agreeing with her since I really don't know, but I'm not it's sure it's fair to label her a conspiracy nut just for believing politicians have no problem flirting with legality just to stay in power. That is simply a sad, but undisputable fact

I don't know about the voting system down there but it all seems like everything can be hacked these days and there ain't nothing we can do about it unfortunately except for preventing these types of things because they are inevitable.

Peace
