9/23/2006 Tyler, TX
Show opens with announcement that weather at DFW airport kept RVD from
making the event. There was bad weather, but I'm not sure if this is the
real reason or not. Matt Striker came out to insult the RVD and the
audience before being interrupted by the Sandman who canes Striker, then
makes a trip through the crowd drinking beers.
-C.W. Anderson defeats Rene Dupree
-Paul Heyman's Personal Bodyguards defeats F.B.I.
(pretty boring, Tony Mamaluke did a poor job selling this match)
-Stevie Richards defeats Kevin Thorn
(Richards made a cross with his fingers and Thorn freaked out. Some fan,
other than the WWE plant with the red cap, had a sign featuring a drawing of
Kevin Thorn with the caption "I want to suck your dick" Stevie Richards
seemed to get a kick out of it, so he asked the fan to borrow it and showed
it off to the crowd.)
-Kelly Kelly wins the Extreme Body Contest over Francine and Trinity
(Francine throws both other competitors out of the ring before Ariel ran
in.)
-CM Punk defeats Mike Knoxx
(Fans had Pepsi cans in support of CM Punk. Best ECW chant of the evening:
"Knoxx Sucks Cocks! Knoxx Sucks Cocks!")
-Sabu, Tommy Dreamer, & Sandman defeat Big Show & Hardcore Holly in Extreme
Rules match.
(Good match, lots of high spots, Test went through table.)
They really need more that one "Extreme Rules" Match per card.
