Technology DVD Rom

I installed a DVD Rom that I got, but like it only reads cd's, can anybody lead me to a free program that I can install that will let me watch dvd's and movies

get yourself a dvd program. you can use google or go to www.download.com, theres plenty of them.

but most dvd rom drives come with software. check out any cds that came with it

i just installedcliprex program, the top freeware one and now it wont even read a normal music cd let alone a dvd

this is fucked up, i uninstalled the program and now my drive wont read anything fuck

be more specific. the problem might be with your drive,it might have been coincidence. no software will fuck up your drive(unless its a malicious virus programmed to do that) which in this case it is not.

go to my computer,see if the drive is reading the cd or dvd.
