is there any way to like copy the audio track of a DVD such as eddie murphy raw and make it like an mp3 to play on ur ipod

yeah there is software to do it. you may have to do the whole thing to record it and cut it down if you wants it in chapters.

If you ripped the audio from a DVD to WAV it would be huge file size.

...forgeting how fucking huge that file would be, and also wanting to listen to it on mp3 player, id rather rip to mp3.
