How many of you actually pay for music online - from iTunes or Rhapsody or one of the other online music download services?

For those who don't, is there anything you can think of that would make you change your mind and pay to download songs/albums?

I download and don't pay simply because 1. it isn't illegal to do so in my country and 2.i end up deleting it anyways after a few listens. If it's something i really like,i'll buy the cd when I get the chance to pass by the music store but i'm in no rush to do so. I would buy and pay if the tracks /albums were encoded in 320kbps bitrate though, instead of buying the cd.

i pay sometimes on itunes. just depends. example would be recently i couldnt find a hard copy of an album by an artist or find it for download anywhere. itunes had it and since i really wanted to hear it i said fuck it.
also sometimes itunes has sessions with different artists that you can only get on itunes and i might get a few songs or download the whole thing to listen to the interview with the artist and hear them talk about how they came up with certain songs.

most of the stuff i download off of itunes isnt rap music though.

I don't pay simply because I don't download as much as I did back in the days. There is no single artists out there other than Kanye & Game that I am really interested in hearing. Most new artists always talk about the bling, hoes or recycle another old song to death.

I listened to mostly my old songs that I have on my ipod. Havent added any new songs/albums in a long time.

I don't pay for the music I download off the net.

I can think of two things that could lead me to paying. One, the availability and two, the sound quality.

one thing is for sure, internet downloading helps me find out what I like compared to going out and buying a CD which I have no idea how it is.

I pay
But the things i pay for are generally rare rare songs that you can't get at stores and generally are too hard to find on p2p programs.
PLUS i only get my music at 320kbps and it's a little harder finding it at that quality these days. But you do notice the difference when you pump it in a club.

There are plenty of sites that do this. DJ's won't get anything less. Just don't go on the major websites and you'll be surprised. I did wish itunes sold at 320kbps though.
