I don't know if I agree with all the moves, but it certainly was interesting. I was expecting RAW to pick up guys like Punk and MVP, and send JBL and Umaga the other way, but all the moves were pretty big.
I really hope they don't nullify the whole thing by having Triple H traded back to RAW, like they did before. It wouldn't hurt him to spend a few months on the blue brand, especially if it means he feuds with Edge. It also means that we should get a major title change at Night of Champions, otherwise SmackDown will end up with both of the top titles.
A lot of people think that J.R. was legitimately unaware of the announcer trader, which might explain his general demeanour from then on.
ECW really did get raped, but I suppose the US title gives people a reason to tune in. Besides, they're doing a talent trade with RAW, so guys like Punk and Kane will probably show up on there again anyway.
Of course, all of this, and the PPV, was overshadowed by another stupid angle involving Vince McMahon. Not only was it really uninteresting, but in light of what happened at TNA Slammiversary it was a little disrespectful too.
