look at who they got. triple H, jeff hardy, umaga, Kennedy and jim ross.

raw got batista, cm punk, kane and rey Mysterio and Michael cole. not so good.

and ecw got raped, but not as badly as matt hardy did by getting drafted there

we'll you know smackdown is going to a different network. here in the states there leaving the cw network and jumping to my network tv. (the final episode of smackdown on the cw will be sept 12th).

smackdown picking up all this talent is why. plus expect trades i see the divas getting shuffled around because of the womens title being on Smackdown now, and it sounds like raw too.

i was shocked with HHH. figured Cena would go. so now we wait when Undertaker comes back he'll head to RAW because of him and HHH not liking each other in real life.

ECW is like a minor league gets guys tough enough to send to the big shows like RAW and SD. come aug 1st ECW will be with RAW anyway. Smackdown will be by themselves.

i for one like the announcer shakeup. (U could tell JR was pissed) but oh we'll deal with it. him and Foley will be good on smackdown. and Lawler and Cole on RAW. if they would have put JR with Adamle you would have seen JR quit on live tv.

i think you'll see some more talent get traded. Carlito needs to be moved as probably lance cade. the mid carders

I don't know if I agree with all the moves, but it certainly was interesting. I was expecting RAW to pick up guys like Punk and MVP, and send JBL and Umaga the other way, but all the moves were pretty big.

I really hope they don't nullify the whole thing by having Triple H traded back to RAW, like they did before. It wouldn't hurt him to spend a few months on the blue brand, especially if it means he feuds with Edge. It also means that we should get a major title change at Night of Champions, otherwise SmackDown will end up with both of the top titles.

A lot of people think that J.R. was legitimately unaware of the announcer trader, which might explain his general demeanour from then on.

ECW really did get raped, but I suppose the US title gives people a reason to tune in. Besides, they're doing a talent trade with RAW, so guys like Punk and Kane will probably show up on there again anyway.

Of course, all of this, and the PPV, was overshadowed by another stupid angle involving Vince McMahon. Not only was it really uninteresting, but in light of what happened at TNA Slammiversary it was a little disrespectful too.

Jim Ross is pissed.

As many of you know, I was “drafted” to Smackdown Monday night in the “random lottery”. Obviously that means I will be leaving Monday Night Raw and my long time partner Jerry Lawler.

I am not happy about this surprise development.

I also contemplated calling it a career Monday night and not going to Houston to tape SD.

After speaking with my wife and thinking on this matter until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, I have decided to do the right thing for the fans who care and the talent who care and begin my new assignment.

It has been explained to me that the WWE’s Smackdown tenure on My Network is a high priority within the corporation. Allegedly, my presence is needed in that effort.

Many are speculating about when I learned of this development…the same time those of you were watching at home. I should have detected something with the demeanor of certain individuals either thru their plastic, poker faces or the perceived smirk that I thought I might have seen on some of their faces during the day.

As far as going to Connecticut each week to do Smackdown post production, that’s not going to happen. Either Mick Foley can handle it or the WWE can install a DSL line in my home to facilitate the work.

I will miss working with the King as the wrestling biz is one in which a guy can count his legit friends on one hand…even after a 30 plus year career. King has been like a brother to me….albeit an “older brother”. We will remain friends no matter that our team has been corporately imploded.

I believe that I have been strongly loyal to the WWE no matter the hands that were dealt to me over the years. In my tenure there I have earned a good living of which I am thankful. I will fulfill my commitments that I have made because unlike many in the business, my word is still my bond.

I can’t predict how long my Smackdown tenure will be, but I can promise that no matter how long or short it is that I will do my utmost best while sitting at ringside. I am not the kind of man who will “phone in” a damn thing.

My sincere thanks to all of you who have supported me on RAW over the years. I hope I was able to provide you a memory or two. Hopefully, we can create new memories now on Smackdown.

Based on my professional experiences, I look at each broadcast as potentially my last, which helps keep me motivated. So with that said we begin another chapter in my crazy life in the unpredictable world of ‘rasslin.

I still plan on attending RAW in my home market of OKC next Monday and I hear that tickets are still available. Any one have any extras?

I am very happy with the draft overall/ RAW had far too many wrestlers and got by far the best of the last draft. The talent needed spread out more and it is now a lot moer even than it has been for some time. there is potential for some trmendous feuds and now I will be watching SD fully again as teh only reason I watche it before was because of Edge.

The supplemental draft on WWE.com was interesting.

ECW lost Kofi Kingston and Matt Striker to RAW, and Big Daddy V and Shelton Benjamin to SmackDown. Layla also moved to RAW. ECW did gain Mark Henry, Finlay and Hornswoggle (all from SmackDown) and got Super Crazy back from RAW.

Jamie Noble, Deuce and Chuck Palumbo all went from SmackDown to RAW, while Trevor Murdoch, DJ Smith, Brian Kendrick, Carlito and Maria  went from RAW to SmackDown.

Poor Carlito he thought he was getting a fresh start and moving off RAW and getting away from HHH after the comments he made bashing him. and now the poor guy gets screwed drafted to SD and you guessed it back with HHH.

you'll see him in TNA sooner than what you expect.

so at Night of Champions..HHH keeps the belt while Edge loses his to Batista. he takes the world title to RAW.

ECW.. will have their champ back you know Mark Henry will win sunday. now there will be two belts on ECW. heavyweight and the US title.

so are we gonna see Afa Jr debut sunday as Dibiase's partner now DH smith is on smackdown.

i hope HHH loses. it would make more sense for Cena to win and get that gay as fuck spinning belt then have it on smackdown where it is not relevant.

or HHH wins and he gets rid of that piece of shit spinner belt.

thats funny you mention the spinning belt. i figured when Orton was champ that WWE would have dropped the spinning belt.

HHH still has the belt but as everyone sees the WWE logo doesnt spin anymore.
