Denmark slaughter England

There's 20 mins left. But still gonna lose heavy...

2 reasons.

Glenn Johnson is not an England player. He is terrible, needs to realise his potential. He's not even a Chelsea player, so why pick him Sven?

Caragher is a headless chicken and is completely lost on the left hand side of the centre of defence.

And then there's the fact the midfield don't have a clue. They are not working hard enough to support the attack or defence and don't move at all. Which means there is no space.

David James made a dubious decision in goal, he wasn't committed either way for the first goal. But I feel sorry for him. His defence is shit.

Join me and boycott Danish Bacon in response to their humiliating win.

Typical case of underestimating.

Holland - Germany turned out 2-2. Despite the Dutchies having a 2-0 lead after halftime :(

Calamity James!

He looked gutted. He could see tomorrows headlines. knows he'll get the blame.

I felt sorry for him. It was Carragher, Johnson and the midfield who were to blame. Did Gerrard or lampard turn up?

Ireland lost 2-1 to Italy but we played pretty well and should have got the draw but the referee disallowed Clinton Morrison's last minute goal for handball.

Never seen the game but from what i hear England were shit, is that an accurate statement ?
First half they played moderately, nothing special but ok. Second half.......Wayne Rooney was the only England player on the pitch the rest sucked ballz big time. And the thing is Sven's gonna take the blame when it's not his fault.

We didn't play a qualification match, but we (Croatia) tied Brazil 1 - 1.

We didn't have Prso and they didn't have Ronaldinho.

You guys lost against Poland, which was a friendly though.

You guys are 2nd place in standings, behind Spain, probably will make it, but Lituania has 9 points, you guys have 12. So it's a close one.

I just read Zidane scored his first goal since coming out of retirement. They beat Ivory Coast 3 - 0

Nice. How did both teams play? The Germans are on the way back :)

We played quite well in the first half. Good combinations and position play, Germans sucked in the 1st half. Very static. Scored fast after halftime as over, but the Germans came back better and we lost the level we held in the 1st half.

Holland didnt deliver the killing blow. Plenty of chances, but not enough goals. I heard Germany was gutted in the papers though. Saying they got lucky that the Dutch didnt pull through.

Good game after all. Both Holland and Germany are quite comparable. Both teams have underwent extensive restructuring. Getting rid of the old generations and working with younger players. Only Kahn and v/d Sar were the veterans on the pitch (Bronckhorst was also selected but didnt play 'cause of injury). Also with 2 excellent ex-players as coaches, Klinsmann and Basten :thumb:

im looking forward to the world cup 2006!!
