As much as I love Papi and the Sox, it would be a crime if he (backed by the best offense in baseball) got it over A-Rod, who actually plays the GAME, not half of it.
Papi singlehandedly changes more games than any other player in the league

By The Final Week Of Baseball, Yankees Dont Make the Playoffs

Boston Wins The Division, Cleveland Is On A Roll Right Now, They Could Still Win The Central. Regardless Indians Make The Playoffs :thumb:

I Was Sad To See My A's Not Making The Playoffs :(
(Maybe Next Year) Unless The Angels Flop an Lose Their Remaining Games, Which I see Aint Gonna Happen

Here are the final standings: Yankees win Al East, White Sox the Al Central, Angels the Al West and the Indians the wildcard, unfortunately the lack of good starting pitchers for Boston are gonna cost them a playoff participation. The Yankees are hot and they will win the next series against the Red Sox next weekend.

the only good ting about the Yankees today was the class the fans shows to Bernie Williams who played his last game at Yankee Stadium...following the team since 1994 its kinda sad to see another yankee from the dynasty go...but makes it better for me to feel no strings attached now rooting for Boston :) :)

Papi for MVP!! :D

Bos vs. Tor: 5-9
Bos vs. Tor @ Fenway Park: 2-3
Bos Home Record: 50-24
Tor Away Record: 35-42

Series Prediction: 2-2

NYY vs. Bal: 8-6
NYY vs. Bal @ Camden Yards: 1-4
NYY Away Record: 38-36
Bal Home Record: 35-42

Series Prediction: 2-2

That would mean both the Red Sox and the Yankees would be 93-66 heading into the final series..

Bos vs. NYY: 7-9
Bos vs. NYY @ Fenway Park: 3-4
Boston Home Record: 50-24
NYY Away Record: 38-36

Series Prediction: Boston 2-1

I got those predictions through this formula if you feel the need to check my math:

[(Percentage of A * No. of Games in Series) + (Percentage of B * No. of Games in Series) + (Percentage of C * No. of Games in Series) + (Percentage of D * No. of Games in Series)] / 4 * No. of Games in Series

The fact is that Boston and New York have been pretty even all year, and Boston's stellar play at home should put them over the top in the final series (assuming they don't fuck up against Toronto).
