Congrats to Liverpool

What a great game, although West Ham got very lucky with all of their goals, but what do I care Liverpool won in the end. Gerrard is just unbelievable, he always pops up with great goals right when you need him, hope he can produce the same form in the world cup, anyway the Rafalution roles on, next stop the premiership title :)

Two great Gerrard goals, and a fantastic performance from Reo-Coker (I hope Sir Alex was watching). Great match, but obviously I was rooting for the Hammers.

Fucking excellent.I think Liverpool shaded it overall.West Ham's goals were flukes.Gerrard was unbelievable. His equaliser was pure brilliance. There arent many players in the World that will do somthing like that in the last minute of a final when the pressure is on.What a player.Cisse took his goal well.Reina more than made up for his error.Liverpool fully deserved to win the FA Cup especially since they knocked out both Chelsea and Manchester United.

the 3-3. the 2-2 was blimey nice but you can notice he didnt hit the ball optimally. too high on his foot. the 3-3 was sheer perfection in an obliterating package.

I dislike Liverpool but it's obvious that you can't write them off. Just when you think that they are over they are managing come back. Only team which can truly demolish them is Chelsea right now, although they failed to do that in FA Cup. I was rooting for the Hammers for obvious reason but they didn't have enough luck and nerves. After that game with Tottenham maybe they deserve this.

The scousers were very lucky...We (West Ham) were brilliant and deserved to win in the end....Gerrard was fantastic, him and Sissoko carried pool and without them two it would have been a convincing W Ham win. I was there atmosphere was great at the end there was mutal respect between the two clubs as they had just taken part in the greatest final ever.

Spurs are a club that show no respect, they think they are a big club but are not. Spurs are a big business but not a big football team end of. West Ham beat you fair and square (I admit Carrick looked effected by the 'food poisoning') so stop whinging and get on with it. What was the result at White Heart Lane? 1-1? That was your full strength team that day and still you could not beat us so why would you beat us away from home? Replay spurs? Why, we would only beat you again.

Although I feel a great respect for West Ham and I think you gave a very good account of your self I completely dissagree with your point that we were lucky I think that you were the ones who were lucky, 1. your first goal was an own goal, 2. your second goal was a massive mistake by our keeper, 3. your third goal was the luckiest of the lot, he meant to cross it. All of our goals were world class and on another day I think we could've easily won 3-0, also the difference in bottle and class showed in the penalties, but well done for you anyway they tried their hearts out and nearly won, I wish West Ham all the best in the future, peace.

I dont support Spurs btw.I support Liverpool.I was going for Spurs against West Ham because of the Irish contingent at Spurs.

I think West Ham can consider themselves unlucky not to win but the 3 goals they scored were all flukes whereas Liverpool's were all excellent. And Liverpool beat better teams on the road to the final.

I sum the game up like this:

West Ham played great and scored average goals, Liverpool played average and scored great goals.

Overal we played better than you but your goals were hell of alot better and I appricate that. I think we created better chances throughout the game (Harewood after half time, Benayoun after half time, Harewood injury time, Reo-Coker injury time, Ashton first half) compared to yours.

I didnt mean to say u was lucky (apologies for that) but I think we should have won on the way we played and our mentality.

Anyway great game and well done for winning!

I agree with you,West Ham had the chances to win it.

If u look at the FA Cup as a whole Liverpool deserved it this year.

West Ham had a very good season anyway. They have some good players.

In a season where they should have been focusing on avoiding relegation, to finish in the top ten and reach the FA Cup final (getting into Europe in the process) is a brilliant achievement. They've built up a good squad, and hopefully Pardew will get the money to improve it. I'd like to see them get some of that money from United, in exchange for Reo-Coker.

First of all I don't support Spurs but I think that Arsenal on perfidious way finished on fuorth place. I say this only because you obviously was refering to me.
What kind of respect West Ham needs from Tottenham? Spurs had history but, to be honest, they are always behind the Arsenal. West Ham is after them. Kan Bates woke up Chelsea and Abramovich made him walk. That makes West Ham to be club in London's background fighting with Charlton Athletic, Fulham etc. Honestly, I don't think that Hammers deserve that and also to be called 'The Academy of Football'. In past, you provided a lot of talented players but right now, Tottenham has his trumps also. But, I was suprised with West Ham's games this season considering their budget. I was rooting for you last season in the Championship...
Bottom line, West Ham needs more European players (not from Scandinavia) to clinch with other London clubs in Premier League. (Fresh examples - Luigi Di Canio (I dislike that nazi), Tomas Repka & Lionel Scaloni.) I'm glad that you managed to went in UEFA Cup. My favourite team, Partizan, is there so maybe we'll meet.

West Ham finished 5th in the prem before we went down same as Spurs' highest premier league finish. Spurs are bigger than West Ham in sense of turnover but the teams are near enough the same. Why more Europeans when Harewood and Dean Ashton are scoring for fun? Foriegners struggle in the premiership and the 'Academy of Football' will always have the best young English talent. From what I heard we are looking for some foriegners but Id only want them if they are as good as say Theirry Henry!

You dont need foriegners to be a top club ala Man U in the 90's
