is it possible for me to use my computer monitor to play video games on? i dont have a tv in my room, and it makes playing online a lot easier, so i was wondering if there was a device that gave my monitor those yellow and white outlets..

I dont know if you connect a video game system to your computer, but you can download emulators to play games on your computer.

Hope that doesn't help.

you need a TV in card. It allows you to watch TV on you PC, and it has imputs to connect a video game system.

they run about 50 bucks, and need a free PCI Slot.

Like someone said you need a tv card or a video card with tv out then you can use s-video or and other video cables. I do it all the time.

With cable yes...satilite no! cable tv is a universal standard every tv sold in the us has built in cable tv tuner as well as most pci computer tv cards. no cable box is required to recive cable on any tv. satilite is totaly diffent. satilite requires a digital satilite reciver access card (this card is what you pay x amount of dollars every month for. if you want to recive satilte tv on your pc than you need a satilte reciver pci card you can buy from hauppauge. and you have to pay for another access card from you satilite tv service provider that will plug into the pci card.

and for the dude that posted something on the Revolution......Nintendo is shit...i've given up on them after the Gaycube...they conned me into buying it, saying it would have all these features, but really, only two games supported those features....fuck nintendo and their "creative, original" ideas....they've flopped twice in a row now...

That's funny.

Really? Let's see, Nintendo 64 wasn't a flop (it sold more than the X-Box has), none of the GameBoy series can possibly be considered flops, the GameCube was always profitable (unlike the X-Box, who only started to see profit this year) despite relatively low sales, and the Nintendo DS is outselling the PSP.

nintendo is great. Before there was windows and xbox playstation etc there was nintendo. Back then we didnt have all of this eye candy and stuff so we didn't expect much. I look at newer games somtimes pretty much like I look at newer movies. Replace story line, game play, and difficulty with great special effects and what do you get?
