Whenever I try streaming videos on Firefox I get 'Click here to download plugin' showing up

I click and the window in the attachment comes up
clicking finish does nothing. and manual install takes me to the wmp download site.
i have WMP 10 and Divx installed, along with xvid.

Alternatively, you can use another plug-in if you are having problems with the plug-ins above, and use this plug-in called 'media player connectivity' which allows you to launch embedded video in an external source (ie: media player classic, VLC player, etc...)
Also, while you're at it, download combined community codec pack from here. It's the superman of all codec packs, and gives the latest build of media player classic, which is what you should be using to open video instead of real player, WMP10 or anything else.
Firefox can't display some streaming videos, for reasons beyond Mozilla's control. If installing the plugins from their site doesn't work, download IETab (see the Knowledge Base) and just open them in that.
