Holders Chelsea have just been knocked out of the Carling Cup on penalties by Charlton Athletic. Robert Huth was utter shite for the entire 90 minutes.
I heard it was so-so. Apparently Eckersley, Martin and Jones did well, but United Fans' Golden Boys, Rossi and Pique, looked 'out of sorts'.
But "Joe Red" as we like call him, got another senior goal, so it's all good. With Louis "Mr. Glass" Saha injured AGAIN, Rossi might get a chance in the first team.
With a draw against Everton, a loss against Charlton and hopefully a draw/loss against Blackburn, this seems like a good time for United to play Chelsea. If we beat 'Boro, Chelsea and then win the game in hand we'll be within 4 points.

Beating Arsenal derailed them, at least for a while. Beating Chelsea could well do the same. If we beat Chelsea and keep winning, we certainly have a chance of winning the league.
As far as having a better team...their starting 11 is perhaps better - slightly better - than ours. I'd take either of United's strikers over Drogba, and I rate Rio and Heinze higher than any of their defenders bar Terry
man i a major united supporter n av bin since i was lil...n i totally agree wit u Illuminattile...we gonna shock chelsea this season deffo.
utd have gotta make up for last season and we well geared up for big thingz this season...we gotz some good youngsterz cmin up n our first team is on fire...lol well apart from John O'shea (who totally sux in ma eyez!!!) and Phil Bardsley - who cannot thread a decent ball into tha box to save his life. but yeh apart from those 2 tha teamz lukkin pretty gud...especially rooney, ronaldo.heinze n j.s.park
it was good to see chelsea go out.I thought theyd win easily. My mates a man utd fan and i went down to the game on wednesday with him and thought the standard of man utds youth players was poor.None of them looked like they could do anything playing against decent opposition
