Ok people, these Yanks are taking over this forum with there shit sports, so lets get some football talk on the go!

Who's gonna win through to the semis out of...

Benfica - Barcelona
Arsenal - Juventus
Internazionale - Villarreal
Lyon - Milan

I go for Barca, Arsenal, Inter and Milan to all qualify. I think Lyon are gonna miss Juninho tonight and will suffer as a result. Benfica will got knocked out, they've been lucky with who they've played and they'll get found out tonight.

Juve for me lack a bit of urgency and penetration in the Champions League, sound defensively but that means nothing when Henry is on form. I think it'll be a similar scenario to th Real game with 1 goal making the difference. Inter should win through too, Villareal will need Riquelme to pull the strings tonight and i feel they're too reliant on him. Inter one the other hand have class all over and have been going well in Serie A.

Arsenal game will be tight tonight, I think Ibrahimavic and Del Piero are out for Juve so that will be a major blow but Freddie is out for Arsenal and he played well against Real so he will be missed but hopefully Hleb and Fabreges continue to play well. I think Arsenal will win 1-0 tonight.

Barca should overcome Benfica easily as they rested a few players at the weekend and should be fresh, would expect them to win both legs.

AC-Lyon will be very tight, Lyon have lost a little bit of form domestically while Milan had a great win over Fiorentina on Saturday. I expect both teams to win at home but AC to go through on away goals.

Inter-Villareal. I think Inter should win this comfortably, saying that Riquelme is always dangerous and will cause problems.

I think Arsenal can beat Juve also.

Barca are without 3 Centre backs, so that may be a problem, but they will overcome Benfica in the end.

Lyon will beat AC Milan.

Inter to scrape through.

Barca vs Benfica was a great game, even though it was 0-0.

The score couldve been 8-5 to Barcelona..they hit the woodwork like 3 times..Eto'o missed an easy one v one

Arsenal are through, Juve won't score 3 in Turin.

Fuck Arsenal.Juve didn't have Del Piero or something, they'll score 3 at home to go through.
Del Piero wouldn't have made a difference. Juve was outclassed on every front. Arsenal was the superior team on the pitch. I think the next game will be hard fought, but i dont see Juve getting back from 2 down, especially since they have made no away goals.

Juventus Players Sing The Club's Song.

Last thing Ferrara needed is glasses. he a old looking man with them glasses he rockin' and he still in the squad.

Damn what a performance, if i was a Juve fan i'd be very embarassed. Totally played off the park and an 18 year old Fabreges dominated Vieira :)

Oh yeah and Cambronesi is a total dick.

Why? Because we presented one miserable perfomance? How many times we saw things like this in 2005/06 season? Not even once. How many times Arsenal fans saw similar epilogue? You can start counting...
Vieira was under big pressure. It's not simple to play against team which part you were for 9 seasons in such important game. But he won't play in Turin also and that what's bothers me...
Italians often play rough. Sometimes even dirty. He lost his head. Mauro was another Juve player that played under big pressure since this season he's more on the bench than on the field and Capello wants to sell him.

Arsenal were immense last night, totally dominated from start to finish. Too much pace and too much movemement for Juve's old boys to keep up with. The amount of times Henry came deep to get the ball then had 3 available runners was amazing. Wenger got his tactics spot on again. It showed how out classed Juve were when they got the two reds in 5 mins. I'd have loved to have seen the game go on for another 10mins. Arsenal would've scored more cos they couldn't hack it with 11, never mind 9.

Illu, i'm gonna have to resurrect that thread with the Wenger-Ferguson debate soon i feel! :D

Juve wasn't bad in some periods of the first half. But, when they suffered a goal their dream about 0-0 (Capello often insists on such approach) was over.
Arsenal was more than a better team. I'm devoted Juve fan but I'd say that Juve was lucky last night. Very, very lucky. This was one of the worst perfomances of 'bianco-neri' in years orchestrated by 'Don Fabio'. Obiviously, Arsenal did the same as Liverpool last season. They focused on CL.
Wenger perepared his team very well and exposed all the weakness of Juve squad. I can't predict what we'll see in the Turin but if Juve continue to play without motives and lazy Arsenal will certainly go through.
