Everyone knows who the best fighter or fighters are in each weight division, its just trying to get them to fight eachother! Having loads of different belts is annoying, but it means more fighters make more money. For instance joe calazgne should have went to america and won a real word title belt 10 years ago, instead of just winning one last night! But he has been making good money defending his WBO belt in the UK in the last 8 years.
Henry armstrong was the featherweight champ of the world, back then there was only 1 belt, so he was the undisputed champ, he skipped the lightweight division and won the welterweight belt! then went down to lightweight and won that belt aswell. Thats would be the equivelient these days of holding around 15 world titles at the same time!!And i aint even counting the junior lightweight or light welterweight divisions, which werent on the go back then. Just an interesting point.
