Barrera gets another shot at Pacquiao

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Manny Pacquiao will face Marco Antonio Barrera in a
rematch on Oct. 6 in Las Vegas, it was announced Friday.

Pacquiao, from the Philippines, stopped Mexico's Barrera in the 11th
round of their Nov. 15, 2003, fight in San Antonio.
Pacquiao will bring a 44-3-2 record with 34 knockouts, into the bout.
Barrera is 63-5 with 42 knockouts.

Their super featherweight bout is scheduled for 12 rounds at Mandalay
Bay Resort & Casino.

I'd be surprised if barrera pulls this off, i like him but Pacquiao has all going for him. Barrera just doesn't have the stamina nowadays. Looking forward to this one nonetheless.

I new i would capture a few boxing fans with this fight. Unlike the rest of these noobs in this section that only know about soccer.

1 of many great fights this year, another underrated battle will be Taylor V Pavlik , finally Taylor will be made to get off his lazy ass and fight. This guy Pavlik can really bang, hopefully he'll catch him, this guy really deserves his shot.

This fight might be one of the most important fight in Barreras career. If he wins this I think it would mean a lot to him, just to show he aint goin downhill just yet... Also any fight Pac is in is good, and they went at it last time, tight.
