Technology automatic refreshing...

Yo yall know how with like when u followin a sports game on the net especialy or in a chat on the net..its like automatic refreshin......can u get it like that on a normal website too? like maybe sumthin with the cache. so whenever somethn on it changes it automatic changes it doesnt require u refresh the whole page.....this possible?

There's a Firefox extension called ReloadEvery which will let you refresh a page at an interval you choose.

but i was sayin in that post like...for a smoothe refresh with the shit like with the cache...and to where it doesnt refresh the whole page, only anythin that changed

It terms of text getting refreshed rather than the whole webpage, you can't unless it is java based, scripted, flashed. It is the provider who has to do that, they only thing you can do is to refresh the whole page again. If I am wrong please jump in.
