America should train their soldiers not to shoot on hostages and their "friends"

God, in two days you killed a Bulgarian soldier and an Italian secret agent who was protecting a journalist who was just getting saved...

by the way, it seems that the italian jurnalist had some information about Falujah that the U.S. Gov. didn't want her to reveal.

Why the accusatory tone?! You say it like the Americans on this board killed them.... as if they are to blame...

If you posted to inform people - a source really adds credibility.

If you posted to analyse the actions of the United States - try to do it with intelligent, thought provoking arguments, much less correct spelling.

The italien journalist said that the soldiers didn't shoot by accident. I don't believe that, guess there'll never be a prove but if that would be true......well, I don't know. Why would she say something like this if it wouldn't be true in her view at least? ....

I don't know, somehow all this is strange....

Let's see...

The journalist was in a vehicle that was travelling at a high rate of speed towards a checkpoint. The soldiers at that checkpoint were wary of the threat of suicide bombers driving rigged vehicles towards checkpoints, and detonating them, although those soldiers were in their sixth day of their first tours of duty. Not to mention that all this took place in the dead of the night, while some wonder why the soldiers were shooting at the passengers in the vehicle. Did it occour to some that the soldiers thought the passengers in that vehicle were suicide bombers, about to kill them? In war, nothing can be left to chance.

^Plus this journalist works for a communist paper that hates the US anyway. You think she's not going to paint this in as bad a light as she can?

Soldiers also made hand signals and may have fired warning shots.

It's not their fault if a car doesn't abide the checkpoint.

the journalist said that they weren't speeding and there were no signals to stop. Can't believe both sides, one writes for a communist newspaper who opposes the war, the other made a big mistake and is probably trying to cover their asses.

Ok I understand the whole checkpoint thing where the soldiers may have thought they were suicidal bombers. But answer this: Why wouldnt the Italian secret agent stop? The signs indicating a checkpoint, surely he knew English and surely he knew to stop or get shot at. Also he was riddled with bullets, soldiers are trained to shoot the engine to stop the vehicle (heard that from an ex Soldier who's job it was to gaurd checkpoints) not shoot the occupants (although this could be difficult they are trained) I'm not saying this was an attack on them specifically for whatever reason. But my question needs an answer because nothing else makes less sense.

it was probably on purpose.... because the italian was extremely anti-america

the italian investigation has prooved that the car wasnt going faster than 35 KM/h ... that is hella slow... !!

Why is it that we end up hearing mostly about US soldiers 'mistakenly' killing their allys.

I hardly ever hear shit like that from any other nation. Can't you ppl control your trigger finger.

By the way, the car was hit with over 300 hundred rounds. How many clips could that be?

Mother fuckers thought they were rambo and shit.

Forget the American soldiers, they are a hopeless case for a long time now. They just shoot anybody and then say it was a mistake and that they thought they were their enemies when they already knew that their allies were at a precise place at the right time. These guys makes it seem like they like to get in touch with the words friendly-fire every once a while. Like when they killed our Canadian soldiers like one or two years ago I think. I'm sorry guys but damn these soldiers are so dumb and no the Americans won't train their soldiers to do so because they're cowboys of the West and do whatever they feel like. No mean to disrepect or generalize but a lot of them are too full of themselves compared to anyone anywhere in the world. It seems like being humble is not part of their dictionary, always with comments or excuses when it's actually their fault. Tell me guys to which extent will you blame on everybody else when you are truly doing harm to the people?

Peace
