pujols is the best player in baseball, but cleraly derrek lee deserves to be starting with his monster numbers (fucking .392 BA, 20 HR, 60 something RBI)

last year Giambi and Sosa were starters, and now this bullshit in 05? fans shouldnt be voting

any type of voting is twisted...look at political leaders. Just sit back enjoy the game and be happy this years AL squad wont consist 75 % Yankees...

i wrote a letter to selig a couple years ago when he was on goin to be on the radio to talk about all-star voting. it's bullshit. i'm tired of always seeing the yankees startin gjust because they're yankees. that year, varitek should've had it over posada. i was wicked pissed at that.

fans are homers, they don't vote for the people that deserve it.

tino martinez over mark texiera is a joke too, i heard Tino was leading in votes

if Roy Halladay isnt starting pitcher for the AL, there needs to be an FBI investigation

the only yankees who have been good enough to deserve to be all-stars are A-rod (.330, 21 HR, 64 RBI) and Mariano Rivera (dudes got a 0.98 ERA, and hasnt blown a save since april 2nd)

my 05 allstar AL team:

Veritek should be catcher
1b texiera
2b brian roberts
ss tejada
3b arod
of vlad (despite injury)
of johnny damon
of manny ramirez (yes his BA is horrible but hes still producing)
dh ortiz

what a piss-poor year for my yankees

i dont understand why now the all star game determines which league gets the home field...what was wrong back then when they alternated it every year? so what if the game ended in a tie last time?

ooh Bud..see, we're on a nickname basis

nah though...I think I put him on the spot... I didn't really ask him questions so much as I asked a question then told him the answers and how things should work

apparently, i was ignored

well the all star voting was very fair because only 3 yankees got in...but can someone give me a good reason why sheffield should have been on there? and now i dont know who to vote for either Jeter or Matsui because i just got an email from yankees.com annoying me with that...itll be fun to see if Piazza again tips off Clemens' pitches in this years game :p
