Too short. I like Gore not just quiting on influencing politics after his loss. He is doing a major thing right now and you have to admire him for that. What other interviews have been done for this artist on artist thing.

Global warming is important, but I think getting the whole world to ease up a little bit when it comes to military actions is a little more important to me. We seemed to be on the brink of another world war and global warming, as important as it is, should be worried about after tensions cease.

Just saw his movie and I gotta say it was very good, but also very frightening.

It's important to know the truth, even - or better - especielly if it's inconvenient.

My mother just told me that many dutchman are looking ahead by buying houses or land in east-europe because of the feared flood.

I don't know what to think, but hundreds of million refugees in the world and a new ice-age in Europe. Wow - thats heavy

Preparing for the worst - hoping for the best.

im not saying the earth isnt getting warmer, but al gore wants you to believe that its all man kinds fault. there is not evidence to prove that. do the research and you will find out that the evidence isnt conclusive to say that it is all man kinds fault. we, as humans, may have contribuated to some degree but not the way al gore would want you to believe. for every scientist that says its mans fault their is another that says it isnt and this is just a natural cycle in earth existance and that earth has gone through cylces like this before.

before you take any political talking heads word on this subject, especially al gore of all people, just do some research into the subject from all sides.

well, those statistics in the movie. where they wrong?
if not, they told me that global warming in that dimension is - by all means - mans fault.

And even if - like you and your resources say - global warming is not only our fault. Who cares?!

There are obviously many and hopefully enough alerming signs for us to CHANGE.

Anyway, I'm glad that I've seen the movie and its a pity that this big cinestar theater for 300+ people was filled with only two more.
I'd like to encourage y'all to see the movie. Again!!

where the stats wrong? well that all depends on where he got his stats from and whose opinion you ask doesnt it

its a shockumentary. it is ment to give you a one sided opinion and make you believe what the film maker wants you to believe

if you want to start encouraging people to do something start with al gore. he has put more pollution into earths atmosphere taking his private jets rides across the country and back promoting his film, than the average american could would do in years of driving their cars

You're right. Gore wants the viewer to believe in the facts he believes in. I'm pretty sure he knows very good about what he'S talkin about and I also think he is doin a very very important job which is often frustratin, not only because of the message but also 'cause of people like you...

people like me? lol

you dont even get my point do you? you dont see that his agenda is more of a political one for his party than anything do you?

they are not facts unless they can be proven with out a doubt and his "facts" have not been, like i said for every scientist saying that it is all mans fault there are others saying it is not all mans fault.

anyways ill leave it at this, look into both sides of the issue before you take a political talking heads opinion to heart

I understand what you're trying to say. It's simply 'Can't trust the politicians'. And I feel you on that, but I don't understand what Gores motives or benefits could be for travelling through the world with such a message. He also states that he won't run for president again.
He's even telling in his movie that he learned from many scientest throughout the world and also that changing the politics is more a moral question than a political.

There'S something that tells me that this man is on a mission to solve a huge problem - global warming. It's unquestionable that the problem exists. Well perhaps Gore's facts are biased, but he's somehow like Pac tellin us a story with a moral and then it's on us to do, what we gotta do -------- lol

lol at gore solving the problem. this movie is based on his book about the same topic. it gives more exposure to his book and sales go up putting more money into his pockets. there is a motive right there.

some of the scientists he quotes have come out and said that they never said there is a definative link between global warming and man

his movie and book uses scare tactics and fear which put money into his pockets

I dont think its hard to believe we have a hand in global warming, I do believe that the earth changes on its own but to what extent? I dont see it as a bad thing him trying to get people to be more "earth friendly" even if its for some financial gain on his part, if it gets some people movin I dont care bout his hypocrisy.

The fact that people stay away from this movie out of a knee-jerk reaction to its narrator says more about them than it does about the film.

so what does it say about who take the narrators words to heart without looking into the subject matter futher before or after the film?
also i would like to point out that last year people were predicting that this year was going to be a far worse hurricane season that 05 and omg what do you know, it wasnt. there were hardly any hurricanes and the ones that we did get werent very strong and downgraded very quickly.
not to mention that some scientists have said that earth has been going through a global cooling since 98 and we have had signs of that being true this year.
sorry but gores movie would have had a bigger impact if it came out say a year or two ago, not during a year when there were record low temps all over the u.s. that went against what his movie was all about
