I rarely post but I felt this need be said this shits just crazy besides the fact Im still not sure if he commited the crime but its not bout that. Even if he did do it The Green River Killer who had a body count of over 70 people some still havent been found and he was givin life without parole. Charles Manson hes just as fucked up as when he was out and abmits it but hes granted Clemency? They let them both live but they killed Tookie during the middle of a holiday season! His last press release read this

"There is no part of me that existed then that exists now," Williams said recently during an interview with The Associated Press.

"I haven't had a lot of joy in my life. But in here," he says, pointing to his heart, "I'm happy. I am peaceful in here. I am joyful in here."

The Green River Killer avoided execution because he pleaded guilty and cooperated in the location of some of his victims. Manson wasn't "granted clemency". The reduction of his sentence had nothing to do with his specific crime(s). Completely different circumstances.
