A star-studded return to USA

When "Monday Night Raw'' makes its return to the USA network Oct. 3, it will be The Night of Champions. WWE has confirmed that former world champions Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels, The Big Show, Ric Flair, HHH, Mick Foley and Stone Cold Steve Austin will be on the show.
The most interesting returns will be from HHH and Austin. Hunter had a terrific run with Evolution and memorable recent title matches with Batista, but he has had enough time off that he easily could come back as a fan favorite. WWE needs a big-time star at the top of the marquee, and HHH would fill that bill.
As for Stone Cold, it sounds as if this isn't a quick comeback to do some interviews, just to be gone for another six months. Word is that Austin has been working out for a full-time return to the ring and isn't taking this lightly.
Let's not get carried away in thinking that after multiple neck injuries, Austin is going to travel and wrestle 200 nights a year. But once a month on Raw and at select pay-per-views will work just fine.
