A Look at Gang Violence, Larry King

Man its an unfortunate aspect of our society. Like the other night went to see Saw III right, took my little brother and his friends cuz they can't get in since thier under 18, so we sat up top and a huge group, like 20+ people were all kickin it up there, bein cool. Then like 7 or 8 dudes start walking up the stairs, this dumb mother fucker be holdin up his cell phone playin some song about hustlin and shit, and all of a sudden he stops when he passes the dudes who were sittin by us. He tries to start crawlin over the seats to get at this one kid. Everybody starts throwin up sets and shit, in the fucking movie theatre. i'm like god damn it, this was all before the movie by the way. nothing realy happened since cop presence was crazy. But it was just unfortunate, its like damn man I wish I could sit and talk to these dudes and be like WTF are you doing?

"If you gonna bang, bang for change, if not dont bang" - Krayzie Bone, real shit.

But the government facilitated this gang violence back in the 60's when it split up the panthers and shit, so I don't blame everyone fully, the FBI had a lot to do with this whole shit starting.

Thats a huge assumption, but not an entirely correct one. But I can tell you're referencing the incident of the BP and the Blackstone Rangers, right?

A good book bout it is called Uprising. Bunch of OG's thats for Peace talkin bout what happened to them, whats happening now and what needs to happen. I'm reading the transcript now.

I found it a bit annoying how he seemed to ask the ex gangmembers the same type of questions and then interupting their answers with more similar questions, he might have found more insight had he let them finish. But overall its good that its getting out there and it needs serious attention. Would like a video of it to see if it was more annoying to read than watch.

Well I don't know, I agree though ^ ^ ^ They didn't give the people more time.. but I guess seeing their faces, seeing the emotions does make a difference...

According to the Chief of Police of L.A, there's over 200 gang related murders per year... that's mutha fuckin KRAZYEE
