ok, i download a film and then i burn it with Nero. lately, when i watch the film, the audio part of the film doesnt fit with the visual part, meaning the sound is a bit too late.

where is the problem? is it just the file or do i have to change sth.?

Illu, any advice?

EDIT:

oh and i got another problem. my msn doesnt work on one of our computers. when i try to start it it says "bla blah there is a problem..do you want to send it to blah blah..". i've deleted msn and installed it again but it still doesnt work.

thx for help

the film thing - the person that captured it on the pc might have had a bad/slow setup. or maybe its your computer. if it is relatively ok it should be no older than 4 years.
msn - i dont know

see the thing is, when i extract the rar.files (or sometimes i dont even have to extract anything), i test it and watch the film on the pc and everything is fine. surprisingly, when i burn it and watch it on my dvd player, its not.

its probably divx, and his dvd player supports divx.

alot of divx supported players cant handle decoding it properly,so thats there is a loss in sync. I suggest you convert it to vcd or dvd format then burn it.

it could also be the kind of dvdr media you are using.Try a different brand. If the dvd laser is having a hard time reading from the disc, you will lose sync no doubt.

oh for the msn prob, try defragging you hard drive.if that doesnt work, then its time for a format and clean install of windows.most of the times this fixes problems with programs crashing.
