The 49ers swapped the potential of wide receiver Brandon Lloyd for two draft choices from the Redskins, but they replaced him with one of the best receivers left on the free agent market.

Antonio Bryant agreed to a four-year, $15 million deal with the 49ers that included a signing bonus in excess of $5 million. The irony of Bryant's signing is that the 49ers tried to sign his replacement in Cleveland, Joe Jurevicius.
Jurevicius signed a four-year, $10 million deal with the Browns in order to return to his hometown. Bryant went to the 49ers to be their No. 1 receiver.
He's coming off a 1,009 yard season with the Browns after catching 69 passes. He will reunite with a former teammate of his at the University of Pittsburgh, halfback Kevan Barlow.
Bryant, 25, has been in the league four seasons

basically, they got rid of Garcia to make TO happy. Then they got rid of TO. Now they replace Terrel Owens with someone who has the same bad attitude and half the talent

bryants a work in progress I have faith in him to become great also I know about the fallout with parcells but from interviews about the trade he seems excited to join my niners. Brandon Loyd was very inconsistent also most think the niners are gonna go for another wideout.

Lloyd was better, bryant has an attitude problem, and he, like many 49ers, arent stars...... yet. But the 49ers could be a strong team in a few years if they hang on to most of their players, they need to re-sign peterson tho, with no carter or peterson, and no other moves made at LB, ther defense is gunna be very scary next year

^Yeah I came in like wtf, a basketball player with pads on, lol, but then realized.
But yeah, Truthfully I think he has an upside, he has talent, is developing and can be molded in to a good receiver, we will see. he is makin some money though god damn.
