2:22, 11:34, 11:11, etc. What's the case?

Do you happen to catch any certain numbers when you look up from time to time? What were the numbers? What's it mean you think? Who or what is behind it?

I used to always see 2:22 as the time when I looked up. I felt like I was being forced to see it too. Hell, I even had the dorm room 222 back in my college days at tsu (bad things were happening back then). And I had the dorm room 222a in my other school days when I was attending Full Sail in FL (bad things were happening then too). Too many coicidences.

it's always 1:33 for me. The time on the clock. The section in the concert venue. The ticket number when I take a ticket and stand in line weather it's at the deli in the grocery store or the dmv like the other day. Seat number is always 133....everything I look at always has something to do with "133" and I think I know what it means but I really chose not to say.

selective perception. :thumb:
I see what your sayin But what's the reason you always manage to do this when you just wish to forget? Am I being punished or something for something I did or didn't do? I get the meaning of selective perception and all but I don't think I am choosing this on purpouse.

it's a weird thing. it's like when you learn a new word and all of a sudden it pops up everywhere around you (however uncommonly spoken).

I don't think you do understand what he's saying.

It's not because of something you've done or not done, and it's not a deliberate choice. You don't see 133 more often than other numbers, you just think you do because you expect to see it more. Whenever you look at a clock and see 2:38 or 7:15 or 9:04 you ignore it. Whenever you see 1:33, you remember it because you think it has a significance. How many people do you think kept seeing 911 everywhere after the World Trade Center attacks? Lots, because they were looking for them. Same with 666. People notice patterns that they think are significant, and ignore all the others.

Pick a different number, and spent a week counting how many times you notice it in your everyday life.

Yes, I'm certain the clouds are shaping themselves into numbers above me but every time I look up they quickly disperse into random faces of Jesus.

Hmmm... Did somebody just see The Number 23?

I actually did. And saw 23 many times actually within 20 minutes. The first 2 numbers of my license plate "23", my friends license plate "IB1607" 16 + 07 = 23, I started my car at 9:13 but I never changed it from daylight savings so it read 10:13 10 + 13 = 23, and finally gas was $2.63, but the 6 was ripped off so it just read 2 3.
